Nikon D7200 announced

Nikon have released information about their latest DX body release, the Nikon D7200. Although it’s not exactly the mythical D400 that many have been waiting years for, it does address some of the issues that the D7100 had, and it’s especially welcome to see the RAW buffer upped from 7 to 27 shots (12 bit RAW).

Also welcome will be the Expeed 4 processor, hopefully improving image quality, an update to the autofocus system and improved low light autofocus, I’m really hoping it will have improved high ISO handling (there are changes here but unclear if overall handling will be better!) For those interested it also has built in Wifi.

I have pre-ordered and will hopefully have one around the end of March to be able to do some decent comparisons to share with everyone.

A complete comparison can be found HERE on the Nikon USA website.
